Regular heartbeats we feel when we place a hand on the chest are the proof that we are alive. However, while we enjoy good health, we pay no attention to this good fortune. Hayama

Hayama is a small resort town situated on Miura Peninsula about an hour and a half south of Tokyo. Emperor Meiji (1852-1912) chose this town as the site to build an Imperial Family villa for his Crown Prince to recuperate from his sickness. In addition to being blessed with a mild climate, abundant ozone and clean water, the Center enjoys the beautiful changing seasons of the mighty Mt. Fuji just across Sagami Bay.

The heart surgery is progressing constantly. In order to be able to provide the most advanced heart treatment, the world renowned cardiac surgeons are invited to sit on the Advisory Board of the Center. This is in an effort that the Center will not only merit from the experiences of the board members, but also act as the hub to disseminate the know how of new and effective surgery for the benefit of heart patients world wide. The Hayama Heart Center offers the state-of-the-arts heart surgery with the firm belief that every medical treatment should be practiced for the sake of patients who need it.

	1974年大阪医科大学卒業。1986年イ動脈を使う冠動脈バイパス手術で国際的評価。三井記念病院心臓血管外科部長、ローマ・カトリック大学客員教授を経て湘南鎌倉総合病院院長。左心室縮小形成（バチスタ手術）に新方式を導入。

副院長　磯村　正　（いそむら　ただし） 1979年久留米大学医学部大学院修了。同年ハーバード大学ベスイスラエル病院。85年トロント大学トロント総合病院。97年湘南鎌倉総合病院心臓血管外科部長、冠動脈バイパス手術、弁形成術、弁置換術、心室縮小形成術など経験多数。	エグゼクティブ・アドミニストレーター 鈴木　隆夫　（すずき　たかお） 66年日本大学医学部卒。68年ハワイクワキニメディカルセンター。71年米国ボルチモアサイナイ病院外科。八尾徳州会病院副院長、茅ケ崎徳州会病院院長、湘南鎌倉総合病院院長を経て、千葉西総合病院名誉院長、湘南鎌倉総合病院名誉院長を兼任。
